The International
Standards item Household Multimedia
Gateway General Requirements,
which was leaded by U-home headquarters and
reported mainly by ITopHome Union, closed the poll of
the FDIS (Final Draft International Standards) procedure at IEC (International
Electrotechnical Commission) TC100 on April 23, 2010. It was passed with 100
percent affirmative votes, and formally became the IEC International Standards.
This is the first international standard that has passed in the IEC
TC100 household network field, indicating that China has the first international standard led
by China
in the IEC household network field. The
issue of this standard is of great importance to the application of promoting
the Internet of things in digital home field.
